The Syncroscan System consists of three individual 2-head rotating beam units, operating together from a dedicated synchronisation controller. In total, the system features six high-output halogen beam projectors working in perfect unison to create one of the most impressive large-format beam effects of the vintage disco era.
Each of the three fixtures contains two powerful beam projectors mounted on a rotating arm assembly. The twin heads rotate continuously through a full 360 degrees in either direction, while the dedicated controller synchronises all three units to create coordinated sweeping patterns across the venue.
Unlike conventional lighting effects, the Syncroscan was designed as a complete lighting installation rather than a single fixture. The three units are typically spaced across a stage, dance floor, truss, or venue, allowing the beams to travel throughout the room in perfect synchronisation.

A Complete Nightclub Lighting Installation
When operating together, the three Syncroscan units create giant sweeping aerial patterns that move across the venue as a single coordinated system. The result is a spectacular wall of moving light that was often used as a centrepiece effect in discos, roller skating rinks, dance halls and entertainment venues throughout the 1980s.
When combined with haze or smoke, the six rotating beams become dramatically visible throughout the air, creating enormous tunnels and fans of light that fill the venue with movement and atmosphere.
